Fortunately, it is a virtual event - you get to wear whatever makes you feel confident and comfortable.
If you decide to keep your camera on, let’s go with smart casual and/or business casual.

An open-minded mindset, some critical thinking, and most importantly, lots of curiosity and fun!

论坛开始前做什么？

BEFORE the conference: update your LinkedIn! Research our amazing guests and go in with a plan: what interests you? What questions do you have?
Double check the time of the forum. If you are in a different time zone than NYC, you might consider setting an alarm. Or two.
Check your Internet connection, microphone, and speaker.
The forum will be held on a zoom webinar. Click here to familiarize yourself with the interactive features like raise hands, Q&A and chat boxes.
We offer interpretation services! To switch between English and Mandarin, simply follow these steps:
- In your meeting/webinar controls, click Interpretation .
- Click the language that you would like to hear.
- To hear the interpreted language only, click Mute Original Audio.

Be active and engaged. We understand your zoom fatigue, but virtual eye contacts are just as important.
Participate in zoom chats and WeChat groups.
Ask thoughtful, open-ended questions to drive meaningful conversation.
Find attendees with similar interests to connect offline!
Enter and exit zoom meetings when the timing is right.
If you have technical difficulties, please do not hesitate to send direct messages to the zoom hosts.
