Shape the Mind to Shape the Future - Adolescent Education & Psychology
Mental health issues have become more prevalent among adolescents in China, drawing significant public health concerns. As the WHO’s Comprehensive Mental Health Action Plan 2013-2030 advised, promoting youth health and well-being during the transitional period from adolescence into adulthood is crucial.
This subforum explores how family and school can help intervene and mitigate the effect of mental health problems in adolescents in an interactive manner.
Our subforum will discuss the following:
How can parents and caregivers play a role in psychological education and show support?
How can teachers help adolescents in school settings regardless of their background?
How do parents and teachers work together?
By addressing issues around adolescent mental health from a holistic view, we seek to tackle this pressing question and stimulate insightful dialogues among all stakeholders.
